Shannon is a London-based beauty writer with over five years experience working in beauty and retail. Through trialling new products and interviewing some of the most knowledgeable experts in the business, it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about beauty.
In my formative years as a journalist, the list of women that I deemed inspirational were strong, bold female figures that stood for both nothing and everything at the same time. The likes of Michelle Obama, Tina Brown and Anna Wintour spring to mind. But as the years have gone by, I have found myself needing inspiration in other areas of my life instead.

The WWMD doctrine has taught me three key things: 1. Never go to bed with your makeup on 2. Always carry a bottle of water and 3. Approach every situation with unfaltering grace and determination. She might not have edited a magazine, but she’s been the source of all the inspiration I’ll ever need.
