Having a massage is a little treat and we all deserve one every once in a while. After a long working week, there’s nothing quite like kneading out all that built up tension, especially if you working in an office! We truly believe that putting aside 2 or 3 hours a week for your own well-being will impact your positivity and outlook.

Before your treatment

Tie back your hair

There’s nothing worse than stray hairs getting greasy and sticking to your skin, so get them out of the way!

Take your makeup off

To ensure that your skin benefits from the therapeutic massage oils, be sure to take off all your makeup – especially if you’re having a facial!

Shower

Starting a massage when you’ve showered will mean you feel more comfortable, so give yourself a quick rinse in a hot shower before you wrap yourself in a robe and pop on your slippers!

After your treatment

Take a Timeout

Spend at least 20 minutes enjoying your relaxed state. For us, this feeling of complete tranquillity doesn’t come around often so make the most of it!

Avoid bright lights

Don’t shock your system, let it adapt by introducing light slowly, starting with a nice dim light, or candle-lit room!

Let the oils sink in!

There’s a reason why they use oils that smell so good – they’re full of lovely nutrients that will treat and heal your body! Be sure to let these soak in for as long as possible.

Glug, glug, glug!

Continue the detox and be sure to keep hydrated. Whether that’s water or a refreshing peppermint tea you crave, it’s good to keep water levels up to help flush out any unwanted toxins. If you’re not a fan of plain mineral water, pop some ice water in a jug with sliced lemons, oranges or grapefruit!

Avoid bright lights

Don’t shock the system back into reality and let it come to.
